During the time of occupation the allies published various papers to supply their troops with news. The first issues were printed in the western zones of Germany. Later the production took place in Berlin.
Note: Due to traffic costs the filesizes had to be limited. Simply shrinking the images or reducing their quality would not make much sense as no one could read the content of the papers then. In order to solve this dilemma the issues are reduced to the articles. All adds, tv guides, sports pages etc. are left out.
